Flood waters impact storage areas underneath homes on the west banks of the Choctawhatchee River. Low areas along Strickland Road in Washington County become subject to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Thursday was 14.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 12.0 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.4 feet on 01/28/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
